About me

My name is Xingchao Yang and I work as a senior research scientist at CyberAgent AI Lab, in the Generative Media team of the Entertainment Division. Our team studies video and image creation and editing, with applications to advertising, anime, and games. I obtained my PhD from the Computational Geometry and Graphics Lab at the University of Tsukuba, where I was advised by Associate Professor Yoshihiro Kanamori. I earned my master’s degree from the Yamaguchi Lab at the University of Tokyo.

My own research interests span deep learning, computer vision, and computer graphics, and beyond research I also have a strong interest in cloud engineering and game development.

We are looking for research interns to join our Generative Media team at CyberAgent AI Lab. The lab offers research internships twice a year (summer and winter) for students enrolled in a doctoral program. As an intern, you will tackle cutting-edge research together with our research scientists, with the opportunity to publish at top international venues.
